After months of thoughtful behind-the-scenes work, I’m beyond thrilled to officially share: Melissa Paakkonen Studios has a new name — say hello to Water Lily Photography! ✨
Why the Change?
Great question — and I’m so excited to tell you why!
🪷Water lilies are my birth flower — July’s flower — and as a proud July baby, they’ve always felt like a symbol of who I am.
🎨 For over a year, my logo has featured a hand-drawn water lily, and I knew it was time to align my brand name with that beautiful, personal touch.
📝 Let’s face it — "Paakkonen" isn’t exactly the easiest name to remember or spell. I wanted something a little more memorable, elegant, and true to me.
And so, Water Lily Photography was born.
