Melissa
Melissa grew up with a love of storytelling, whether it be coming up or drawing her own. As a teenager Melissa discovered her love of photography and capturing candid moments of her friends and family. It wasn't until Melissa was finished her undergraduate and graduate degrees that she picked up her camera to tell the stories of those closest to her.
A passion turned itself into a self-fulfilling life.
My mission is to provide professional photography, no matter the budget; because everyone deserves to have their stories captured.
Melissa is first and always an educator. Knowing she had a lot to teach, she did what any young woman would do, complete degrees in Education. She's been a high school teacher for more years than she could count, but wouldn't change a thing about it.
Picking up the camera again was something that became easy, but also made me want to explore how to tell stories in different ways. I fell in love with dance and action photography because it's all about shapes and movement.
