I took on a challenge this year, taking on 13 Prom photography sessions I 2 weeks. Why you might ask? Because A) I wanted a challenge and B) I really like offering my skillset to students who may not be able to afford a session with another photographer.


The best part however, was the location scouting and having fun with the grads! I was able to work with NPSS and provide a hugely discounted rate for Senior Alternate students to provide them with prom photos that they normally would not be able to do.


I got to work with a few of my graduating dancers, and got to make them feel like models instead of just trick performing dancers. I got to work with students who were shy and never before had a photoshoot, and that is what's really important to me, I think.
